What makes this product unique

This powdered milk isn't your typical dairy product. It's raw A2 milk, sourced directly from grass-fed Jersey cows, carefully freeze-dried without heat treatment. While most powdered milks are heated intensively, this one retains its natural shape, texture, and composition. You'll taste and feel it. Pure, traditional, and minimally processed.

What exactly is in A2 Milk Powder?

This raw A2 milk powder naturally contains milk fats, milk proteins (casein and whey), lactose, and essential minerals including calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. Jersey milk is known for its higher solids content, including fat and protein, compared to many other cow breeds.

In addition, milk contains thousands of bioactive components, including enzymes, peptides, and complex lipids. The freeze-drying process preserves the original composition of raw milk as much as possible, without heating.

Milk contains a wide variety of bioactive components. An estimated 1,000 to over 2,000 proteins and peptides are present, including intact proteins, isoforms, and peptide fragments. Between 2,000 and over 4,000 different lipid species have been identified. The number of small metabolites ranges from hundreds to over 1,000, and from dozens to hundreds of different oligosaccharide structures. Milk contains approximately 20 to 30 minerals and trace elements, often in multiple chemical forms, as well as hundreds of nucleic acid-related molecules, including microRNAs.

Raw Jersey milk through the years

From the green island of Jersey to Dutch meadows: this is milk with a story that goes back centuries.

The Jersey cow originated on the Channel Island of Jersey, where farmers kept the breed pure for centuries through strict selection. Only animals with the richest and most nutritious milk were used for further breeding. This resulted in a compact, strong cow known for its exceptionally creamy milk with a high natural fat and protein content. Jersey milk was prized early on for its quality—not for the number of liters produced, but for its per-drop nutritional density.

What renders this milk extra special is its natural form of A2 beta-casein, the original protein found in traditional breeds for generations. In our freeze-dried raw A2 milk powder, we honour this age-old tradition with modern technology. By gently freeze-drying raw milk from grass-fed Dutch Jersey cows, the original structure, texture, and nutritional richness are preserved, creating a pure, stable product that respects the character of this unique breed.

frequently asked questions

FAQ Image
What is the difference between A1 and A2 milk?
A2 milk contains only A2 beta-casein, a protein found naturally in traditional cow breeds like Jersey. Many regular supermarket milks contain primarily A1 casein.
Is this product really raw?
Yes, the milk is raw before the freeze-drying process and is not exposed to high temperatures as with standard milk powder.
Why is freeze-drying different from spray drying?
Freeze-drying removes water at a low temperature under vacuum, which better preserves the original structure of milk.
Does this product need to be refrigerated?
No, the powder has a long shelf life and doesn't need to be refrigerated. Keep it dry and sealed.
Is this suitable for everyday use?
Yes, you can use it daily in smoothies, shakes or to reconstitute milk with water.
Does this product contain additives or fillers?
This product contains only raw A2 Jersey milk with a minimal addition of rosemary extract and natural vitamin E to preserve freshness.
Can I combine this with other supplements?
Yes, this product can easily be combined with protein powders, collagen or other supplements within your daily routine.
Has it been tested for safety?
Yes, each batch is analyzed for common pathogens such as salmonella and listeria.
Can I restore your milk powder to its original condition?
Yes! Use cold or room temperature water (never mix with warm or hot water!). Fill your glass with water first, then sprinkle the powder in a little at a time. Do this slowly to prevent lumps from forming. Mix gently by hand or give it a few quick pulses with an electric mixer. After mixing, refrigerate for at least 4 hours; this will ensure it tastes and feels like fresh raw milk. You'll need about 15g of powder for every 250ml of water.
