Beef Organs - Grass Fed

The Beef Organ Mix from Paleo Powders is the ultimate nutritious combination of four different organs and our own Paleo Elements Complex™. The extensive micronutrient profile and richness of this natural mix nourish the body in many ways. Each organ contains naturally balanced, synergistic vitamins and minerals – but that's not all! Each organ also contains other organ-specific nutrients, such as peptides, purines, choline, enzymes, CoQ10 and precursors of DNA and RNA. With our Beef Organ Mix you get a natural shortcut to diverse, bioavailable nutrients that you simply won't find in other foods.

There is now no excuse not to eat nose-to-tail with the Beef Organ Mix from Paleo Powders. Our 100% natural organs come from grass-fed cattle and cover a large part of the nose-to-tail concept. Simply take six capsules a day and complete the rest of your diet with other foods. It is important not to eat only muscle meat, but also the tougher parts such as organs and glands, just as nature intended!

In modern times there always seems to be an abundance of food, but we are often unaware that it is becoming increasingly difficult to get enough nutrients. Especially at times when we ask a lot of ourselves psychologically while neglecting the physical side, it is important to rely on nutrient-rich natural food sources such as organs. "Bulk food" with a low nutritional value is not enough to provide our body with the essential nutrients it needs.

It is vital to keep our nutrient levels up and even to seek out specific nutrients. By choosing natural, nutritious food sources such as organs, we can provide our body with the nutrients it needs.

Nose-to-Tail Eating: History and Benefits

Nose-to-tail eating is an essential part of human history. From the very beginning until not so long ago, our ancestors always ate the whole animal, from head to tail. After all, why would you leave the good, nutrient-rich parts behind? You still see this today among indigenous peoples: nothing is wasted, precisely because organs and other animal parts contain essential nutrients that you won't find in muscle meat or plant foods. What used to be intuition now has to be learned again.

Until recently, nose-to-tail eating seemed a thing of the past, but with growing interest it appears to be making a comeback. Is this because of increased knowledge, or because our primal biology craves these powerful food sources? The drive to lead a vital, optimal life is in every healthy person. Organs, glands and other animal parts connect us physically, spiritually and psychologically with our heritage and can help us along the way.

Beef Organ Mix:

  • Grass-fed liver: liver is the most nutrient-dense organ there is and a source of vitamin A, heme iron, B12 and folate. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, and folate contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.
  • Grass-fed heart: heart is the richest natural source of coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10.
  • Grass-fed kidneys: kidneys contain large amounts of selenium and B12. Selenium contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
  • Grass-fed spleen: spleen is the most concentrated source of heme iron in nature. Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin.

Since the emergence of modern humans, we have lived largely as hunter-gatherers. We evolved on the basis of a number of key factors that shaped our health and vitality: eating wild, seasonal and nose-to-tail. Exposure to the natural elements and the rhythms of nature, combined with plenty of physical activity. Darkness at night and sunlight on our skin and eyes during the day. Together, these elements make for a proven, successful way of life that promotes robustness and health in many ways.

Mineral Earth & Beef Blood: the Real Thing

Because we develop food supplements that come close to real primal food, we have added our own Paleo Elements Complex™ to the organ mix. This addition consists of raw beef blood from New Zealand and European paleosoil. It gives you supporting nutrients on top of the already nutritious organs – not in extreme amounts, but just enough to complement and enrich them, exactly as in a real primal scenario! The Paleo Elements Complex™ provides, among other things, extra minerals and trace elements, as well as red and white blood cells and immunoproteins.

Animal blood has always been an important and unique source of nutrients for humans, especially in prehistoric times. For modern hunter-gatherers such as the Maasai and Bodi tribes of Africa and the Inuit of the Arctic and Subarctic regions, blood from the cattle they herd and/or from wild animals is an important part of the diet.

Beef Organ Mix Has a Unique Composition

And rightly so! Blood is a source of heme iron, vitamin B12, vitamin A, vitamin D3 sulfate, vitamin K2, folate, CoQ10 and choline, along with other blood components such as red and white blood cells, platelets, immunoglobulins, peptides, cofactors and enzymes. These are all present in our freeze-dried beef blood powder as well. Origin and quality are of course important, which is why we only use blood from New Zealand pasture-raised cows.

Eating earth for medicinal and wellbeing purposes is as old as humanity itself. Edible earth has traditionally been used for nutritional and therapeutic purposes. Geophagy, the deliberate eating of earth, has been documented in all parts of the world since ancient times. On the other hand, unintentionally eating earth was an unavoidable part of daily life in paleolithic times. In varying small amounts, earth was consumed via fresh plant foods, hunted animals, and hands and tools.

Paleosoil, a Valuable and Unique Addition

Unintentionally consuming earth provided nutritional advantages and useful microorganisms. However, there were also risks of exposure to pathogenic microorganisms. With our mineral-rich paleosoil addition, we focus selectively on the complementary nutritional aspects, not on therapeutic or probiotic reasons for use. Paleosoil is 100% natural and clean and comes from aeolian sediment from the European Ice Age.

Our paleosoil contains a unique, natural composition of soil minerals and trace elements that were once unavoidable in our daily lives. It contains just enough minerals and trace elements to make a difference and be a meaningful addition to our total daily nutrient intake. The perfect natural mix of minerals and trace elements found in our paleosoil includes silicon, calcium, potassium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, copper, manganese, nickel and zinc.

Sustainable Origin from New Zealand

Organ meat contains between 10 and 100 times more nutrients than muscle meat. On top of that, organs, glands and meat from pasture-raised cows contain more nutrients than animal products from factory farming. That is why it is important to consume only animal products from organic farms or from pasture-raised cows kept without hormones, antibiotics and with minimal commercial feed.

With its organ supplements, Paleo Powders® brings products of the best quality to the market. The freeze-dried organ powders chosen for our products come from grass-fed cattle from New Zealand or Europe. We do not use raw materials from animals from countries known for intensive livestock farming, where antibiotics are widely used.

On the contrary, the animals are kept with care for animal and environment, which means that the cattle live in their natural habitat, spend most of their time outdoors, are properly cared for and carefully monitored. You can see this in the quality of the animals' meat and in the organ supplements from Paleo Powders. Because the ingredients are freeze-dried raw, nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and cofactors are preserved in the highest possible concentrations. The supplements are formulated and tested with the utmost care and contain no pesticides, hormones or fillers.
